Curations

Selected works, recommendations, and Global South voices. A space to discover writers, ideas, and art that broaden perspective and spark inspiration.

Why TwoBrainCells?

It began as a late-night joke — a friend once said if she ever had a podcast, she’d call it “Two AM with Two Brain Cells.” That spark of whimsy turned into something real: Two Brain Cells. Not a podcast (at least not yet), but a platform shaped by the same spirit of unhurried, wandering conversations at 2 AM.

What started as a playful idea has grown into a space for stories, social reflections, and curated works. Here, fiction sits alongside essays on culture and society, and voices from the Global South find room to speak. It’s a home for writing that slows down, notices, and connects — the kind of exchange where the ordinary becomes luminous, and casual musings reveal something deeper.

Two Brain Cells remains true to its name: a reminder that even the simplest beginnings can lead to meaningful journeys in storytelling and thought.
